Welcome to our Community Website for the Mission Day Darmstadt

Mission Day brings together Agents from both factions to explore cities around the world through the lens of Ingress with unique and local adventures on foot.

Agents, we want to discover Darmstadt on Saturday September 12th, 2026. We will provide high quality missions to explore the city on foot together.

Discover how and where science is brought to life, where research is carried out, and which people have made Darmstadt the City of Science.

You must complete the missions on September 12th to earn a medal/medal +1. Only the MD missions which are presented here will count.

You do not have to sign up before or check in afterwards. Once you have completed your 6 missions, your Mission Day medal/medal +1 will be automatically pushed.

The Touristinformation "Darmstadt Shop" at Luisenstraße 12 will be open:
Mo - Fr: 08:00 - 18:00

The Infopoint Mathildenhöhe at Olbrichweg 10 will be open:
Mo - Fr: closed
Sa - Su: 10:00 - 17:00

While more than twelve missions are within easy walking distance, others are quicker to reach by public transport.
You can use following tickts:
- the "Deutschlandticket", if you already have it
- the "Darmstadt Card" for 10,00€ (1-day-ticket) / 15€ (2-day-ticket) which also includes discounts at touristic sites
- a day ticket for 1 person a 7,30€
- a group day ticket for up to 5 people a 12,40 €
Day tickets are valid from the day of validity until 05:00 a.m. the next day
They can be bought from ticketmachines, bus drives or via RMVgo-App.

Use this connections to reach the missions: Institutszentrum and Fraunhofer LBF: Tram 4 between HBF - Darmstadt Kranichstein
Merck KGaA: RB75 or Bus R between HBF - Darmstadt Nordbahnhof or Tram 9 or Bus H fom HBF to Luisenplatz, then switch to Tram 8 to Nordbahnhof
Ludwigsturm: Tram 9 or Bus R between HBF and Böllenfalltor
